Hi everyone!
Welcome to my blog, “Hooping”! I created this blog primarily so that people can see this other side to hula hooping. With putting a lot of videos on my blog that relate to each topic I hope it will make things easier to understand and they are fun to watch. A lot of people do not know that hula hoop dancing even exists or that people still hula hoop for fun. Everyone knows what a hula hoop is and remembers them as child hood toys. Now, people everywhere are starting to bring their hula hoops back out for many reasons. Some people bring hula hoops into their fitness routines for a fun way to tone up and burn some calories! Other people use their hula hoop for fun and turn hula hooping into an art. In this blog I focused on first explaining the hula hoop and explaining this new form of hooping that is becoming popular now. Another topic I chose to discuss in my blog is the actual act of making your own hula hoop. One of the most important and fun parts of hula hooping is making your own hula hoop to fit you and decorating it how you like. At first people may be turned off by the idea because they think having to make their own hula hoop will be hard and too time consuming. With step by step directions and watching some tutorials on how to make a hula hoop it is actually a very easy and fun project to do and only takes a matter of minutes. Another topic that I talk about a lot in my blog is “tricks” that you can learn to do with your hula hoop, and then can be incorporated into dance. I talk a lot about my own personal experiences with learning tricks and tips that helped me a lot along the way. And if you don’t know anything about hooping you can check out all of the tricks that can be learned and maybe it will inspire you to start hooping! One of the most important parts of hooping in my eyes is videos because there are a lot of things that you can’t clearly put into words so videos help get the point across. With that being said, I hope everyone takes the time to watch some of the videos that seem interesting to you because they really help you visually understand things! I hope everyone enjoys this blog whether you have been hula hooping for years or have never even heard of it before!
